Soccer most popular sport in the world and in Gabon. These village boys are playing barefoot and with an interesting ball. It is a collection of paper and plastic crumpled in a ball shape and held together by string and vines.
Some of folks that lived across the street from where I lived. The woman in the white top was weaving
the hair of the one in front of her while the rest were just hanging out and talking. This is a typical village scene, women taking care of each others hair, minus the tile floor.

This baby gorilla wants
its caretaker back. Its mother was killed by poachers and was now being
taken care of by a nurse at Dr. Schweitzer's famous hospital in Lambaréné.
He is treated like a child, sleeps with the nurse and wears a diaper. |
